YVONNE WAGNER ART
As a lover, and an artist, I enjoy attempting to capture the beauty of the natural world on paper. Watercolor is my first love, as it has a mind of its own and can spontaneously paint parts of a painting itself if I “go with the flow.“ I try to evoke a sense of light and the transparency of watercolor allows me to do that. Painting a feeling of distance in my watercolor landscape painting this also my intention, so that the viewer feels like there is more beyond the mere picture plane, and is transported to another time and place. Recently I have enjoyed creating abstract art, but usually find elements of the natural world within them, such as birds, rocks, or trees.

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less traveled by. And that has made all the difference.
